Taj Mahal Re-opens from September 21, 2020
Taj Mahal, a glorious mausoleum was built for love, tells its story and fame by itself. It has been more than five months for visitors to not see the Taj Mahal and finally, it is going to be re-opened for visitors from September 21,2020. Taj Mahal opens every day other than Friday, due to Friday prayer performed by Muslim in its mosque. It opens before around 30 Minutes from Sunrise and it closes in the Evening after Sunset.

People can bring their Cellphones, Cameras, and water bottles inside the monuments but they can't take Cellphones Charger, Tripods, Tobacco, Cigarette, Any Sharp Objects, Food, and Drinks inside.
What is the Time Spent/Entry Fee for the Taj Mahal?
Maximum 3 hours are given to the visitor to stay in the mausoleum with the Taj Mahal ticket (It is written on the back of the ticket). Taj Mahal fee charges are different for each visitor according to his/her Citizenship status...
Basic Entry Fee: INR. 50 /- For Domestic/ Indian/ OCI cardholder
INR. 1100 /- For Foreigner
INR. 540 /- For Citizens of SAARC and BIMSTEC Countries
If any visitor wants to visit the main mausoleum then INR. 200 /- will be charged extra.
Note:- Entry will be free for children below the age of 15 years.
There will be an additional discount of INR.5 /- For Indians & INR. 50 /- For Foreigners, for online bookings.
Taj Mahal re-opens after six months as it was closed due to Covid-19. As Covid-19 had affected every individual and industry in the world but the travel industry the first one to be affected and would be the last one also to be recovered.

Opening the Taj Mahal after six months is pleasurable news for visitors but they have to follow some restrictions as protocol seeing the Taj Mahal. Visitors have to follow social distancing method, need to be checked through a thermal detector, hands have to be sanitized, Face shield or mask is compulsory, Visitors would be allowed Photography on Diana Bench one by one (There is a seat or bench where Princess Diana had a photograph sitting on it, is called Diana Bench) and tickets would be sold online.
